Lactalis Canada Announces Appointment of Burhan Khan as General Manager for Cheese & Tablespreads Division
October 17, 2025 – Toronto, ON – Lactalis Canada, the Canadian dairy leader behind iconic brands like Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, Balderson, Astro and Lactantia and part of France-based Lactalis Group, is pleased to announce the promotion of Burhan Khan to the position of General Manager for its Cheese & Tablespreads division, effective October 15, 2025.
Burhan will be responsible for the Cheese & Tablespreads division’s overall long-term strategy, sales, marketing and retail partnerships that feature an iconic cheese and tablespreads portfolio of brands including Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, Balderson, P’tit Québec, Cheestrings Ficello, aMOOza!, Président, Galbani, Lactantia butter and Enjoy!

Burhan joined Lactalis Canada in 2019 and most recently served as Vice President, Marketing for the Yogurt & Cultured division where he played a significant role in growing and expanding the company’s Yogurt and Cultured business. Earlier this year, he joined the Cheese & Tablespreads division as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to Lactalis Canada, Burhan held various leadership roles at McCain Foods, Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser.
