Lactalis Canada’s Astro Celebrates “So Canadian” Campaign at Etobicoke, ON Yogurt Facility
Etobicoke, Ontario (June 24, 2025) – On Monday, June 23, 2025, Lactalis Canada hosted a special event at its Rakely yogurt processing facility in Etobicoke, Ontario, to celebrate Astro yogurt’s bold new “So Canadian” campaign. In the lead up to Canada Day, the event highlighted Astro’s proudly Canadian roots – established in Etobicoke in 1972 – and featured attendance by government, industry and community partners and employees. A key moment was the unveiling of a “Welcome, eh!” rooftop mural at the facility, located adjacent to and on the flight path of Toronto Pearson International Airport, reflecting the kind, warm and inclusive identity that defines this country where everyone is always welcome.
In addition, Lactalis Canada presented a donation through its Community Enrichment Fund to Etobicoke-based Haven on the Queensway, a local non-profit organization.
